In order to establish and maintain a positive, supportive and productive school culture that is conducive to students’ academic and social-emotional development alike, it is essential to articulate a set of school-wide systems, routines and behavioral norms. HoLa’s Student Handbook was developed to provide a clear framework for school-wide expectations and protocols, in accordance with our own core values and school rules, as well as state regulations for public charter schools. It is not comprehensive and is a living document, updated annually and as new policies are developed and approved by the Board of Trustees.
