Lunch
The lunch program with Revolution Foods is going great. It is wonderful to see everyone eating so well and asking for more of everything (especially carrots and apples). We have learned that lunch time moves most smoothly and quickly when there are extra sets of hand on deck. For parents who are interested in volunteering, there will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board inside the front door.

Nurse Station
As we are coming in to the cold and flu season, our school nurse, Damaris Caraballo, is receiving more visitors. The PTO is looking for a couple volunteers to help spruce up the nurse’s station with a fresh coat of paint and some tender loving care. If you are interested in helping out with this project, please email pto@holahoboken.org The nurse is also asking for several sets of gently used clothing for emergencies.
Webmaster
We are looking for a webmaster who knows WordPress. If you’d like to volunteer please email webmaster@holahoboken.org

Printer cartridge & cell phone recycling
Help HoLa earn funding by donating your used cell phone and used inkjet and laser printer cartridges. Last year alone, more than 500 million cartridges were thrown away, while 30 million cell phones were tossed or replaced. We’re alleviating the volume of waste that goes into landfills, while helping HoLa supplement our budget and buy equipment and supplies. Please bring your used cartridges cellphones to the front desk. Your help is vital to our fundraising success.
HoLa will get a percentage of the sales as cash and vouchers for books for the school. Order books throughout the year in your student’s classroom. A percentage of those sales will be awarded in free books for the classroom’s library.
