HoLa is proud to announce a Full Immersion Spanish Summer Camp July 8, 2013 to August 16, 2013 for incoming Pre-K4 students through 5th grade.
Not your regular summer camp, HoLa’s Aventuras Veraniegas is a Spanish Immersion Camp designed for students entering pre-K4 through 5th grade in Sept 2013. While our Aventuras Veraniegas is designed to complement the HoLa curriculum it is open and appropriate for any student interested in acquiring or strengthening their Spanish language and creative writing skills. HoLa’s Aventuras Veraniegas/Summer Adventure programs includes the following:
- Free Swim twice weekly at Sky Club

A one-time, non-refundable $25 registration fee is due for all campers.
Full refunds less a $25 registration fee will be issued if notice is given by June 1, 2013.
A 50% refund will be issued if notice is given by June 28, 2013.
No refunds will be issued after June 28, 2013.
Not your regular summer camp, HoLa’s Aventuras Veraniegas will feature the implementation of a newly developed project, theme based unit of study. The children with the support of their teachers will develop a classroom virtual tour which focuses on an in depth study of one of 6 Latin American countries. Our “Aventureros” will put on their backpacks, gather their passports and off they will go on their Summer Classroom Adventure!
This is a perfect way for current HoLa and other bilingual students to support the Spanish they have acquired and a wonderful way for incoming HoLa students to ease into a fun, stress-free Spanish immersion experience. The program will be overseen by HoLa Aftercare Director Margarita Garcia and HoLa faculty. Children will engage in multicultural games, physical activities, crafts, art, music, dance and other local adventures that will be aligned to the introduction and strengthening of Spanish Language Arts, creative writing and mathematics skills. Nuestras Aventuras Veraniegas Summer Camp will be a fun-filled adventure designed to compliment the regular HoLa curriculum—but will definitely be lots of fun!!!
All “Aventureros” (enrolled students) and their parents will be invited to an end of year Aventuras Barbecue on Friday, August 16, 2013.

Week 1 Cuba: July 8-12, $400/week
Week 2 Honduras: July 15-19, $400/week
Week 3 Dominican Republic: July 22-26, $400/week
Week 4 Ecuador: July 29-August 2, $400/week
Week 5 Spain: August 5-9, $400/week
Week 6 Peru: August 12-16, $400/week
Times: 9:00 AM- 4:00PM, Monday-Friday
8:00 AM Early Drop-off, $50/week
5:00 PM Aftercare, $50/week
